Project Detail

The Project on Emerging Nanotechnologies is a program of the Woodrow Wilson Center in Washington, DC. RCD performed design, development, and content management for this large scale site. At launch, there were approximately 5,000 managed pages.

The site was developed in ProcessWire and as part of this project, RCD built custom search engines and inventory management systems using the ProcessWire API.

RCD worked with Brad Yeo by commissioning original illustration for the site. The homepage illustration evokes the excitement and caution of the atomic age and parallels this with nanotechnology.
